5 quick questions with Instagram twin sisters Lauren and Ellie Bullen
Interview with the twins behind GypseaLust and Elsas Wholesome Life
Australian twin sisters, Lauren and Ellie Bullen, have over the last years been documented their travels around the world for our inspiration (and twin inspiration). You may be one of their 2.6 million followers (!) and know them better as @GypseaLust and @elsas_wholesomelife.
Beyond taking inspirational and beautiful photos and making us want to pack our suitcases on a daily basis (hello sunny beaches in beautiful islands!), we just love that they have built career around their passions. Lauren with her travel photography and wanderlust and Ellie with her passion for combining travels with exploring and sharing about her vegan lifestyle.
We recently had an opportunity to interview with the two twinsetters about being twins, how that affects their lives and asked our twin rapid questions. Enjoy!
Favourite twin moment would have to be when we say the same word at the same time, happens quite a lot.
2. DO YOU SEE BEING A TWIN AS A STRENGTH OR WEAKNESS IN YOUR BUSINESS?
We definitely see it as a strength. We’re able to use this as a pitch in getting some joint deals.
3. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE BIGGEST MISCONCEPTION ABOUT TWINS?
That we can read each others minds. Like we often know what the other would be thinking but we can’t communicate through the mind.
4. WHEN YOU ARGUE, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR YOU TO BECOME FRIENDS?
Probably 5 minutes.
5. IS THERE ANY ADVICE YOU WISH YOU HAD RECEIVED FROM OTHER TWINS GROWING UP?
Probably around our teens that we would end up being inseparable again.
We went through this weird stage around 12-15 years old where we wanted to be different from each other and have different best friends but at home we were still best friends.
